Poor thing.Well, the best you can do for it is to first see how badly injured it is.If it’s minor, just keep feeding it until it recovers enough strength to leave on its own or you can bring it to a vet just in case.I hope everything goes well for the little guy,I had the same thing happen but it was already too late.During its last few days,I had to keep a stray cat away from eating him and day aunt did what she could to keep it alive.

The Pigeon would've died the next day so I couldn't bare it but take care of it, the wounds started to heal but the way they look gave me goosebumps, that rat was merciless.

@MchectorII @Sekter That’s a good sign and yeah,Mother Nature can be scary sometimes.

Thankfully it appears to be healing. The major concern is infection, because birds are excellent at hiding sickness until it's too late. I've seen quite a few wild pigeons with extensive bacterial/fungal infections because of crowded conditions. Have you tried posting on pigeon forums? I believe they're quite active and can help with this sort of thing

I've instantly adjusted some anti infection on the wounds so that she doesn't die from the infection.

@Gimmick @Sekter Good to hear, but I was mostly providing a general comment. I'm not knowledgeable enough about pigeons beyond what I said earlier, and that pigeons.biz or similar forums would probably be better equipped to help you determine if or when antibacterials and such are required. From the looks of it the wounds seemed to be closing up fine so it wasn't really necessary but that's just from my limited knowledge.

You just did something incredible.

Most people would have left it to die. You are a special and kind person.

I forgot to make a video about releasing the pigeon but I've had my farewell with the fellow before it flew away with its family.
